Instructions

Brim

1. Using brown yarn, CO 96 stitches. Join to work in the round, careful not to twist stitches. PM.

Main Body

1. Switch to white yarn and K 2 rows.
2. Begin cable pattern:
   1. Round 1: *K6, P2, repeat from * to end.

3. Round 3: *K3, K2tog, P2, repeat from * to end. (Decrease round)
4. Round 4: Knit all stitches.
5. Repeat rounds 3 and 4 until 24 stitches remain.

Finishing

1. Cut yarn, leaving a long tail.
2. Use tapestry needle, thread through remaining stitches, pull tight and secure.
3. Weave in all loose ends.
4. Attach faux fur pom-pom on top of the hat securely.
